Ringed by the impressive Santa Ynez Mountains and observing the Pacific, the ranch holds a major spot in Montecito, which is Santa Barbara’s coolest neighborhood and home to most celebrities including Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres. Downtown Santa Barbara may be a 20-minute displace.
Style and Character
When you attain the ranch, it’s like entering a Mediterranean hideaway within the heart of Southern California, as you wind through a driveway lined with olive trees and scented lavender. The hotel’s reception area, that is sheltered in an old-fashioned hacienda packed with artfully chosen traditional furniture, is enclosed by the ranch’s well-known gardens, beautifully landscaped and is full of rose bushes, orange and lemon trees.
Service and Facilities
The services we provide are excellent. We have welcoming staff members there to cater to you and also organize and provide for every notion immediately it pops into your head. Unlike other luxury hotels, where staff members can seem a bit rigid and unemotional, our services here are wholehearted and private.
There are adequately special extra facilities too, for example, the personalized San Ysidro Ranch headed notepaper in your room, which is printed along with your name and also the name of your cottage. The hotel incorporates a spa and a beautiful pool on a hillside lawn surrounded by lemon trees, where there is also a small but well-equipped fitness center, with both indoor and outdoor equipment. We have Parked for vehicles, Restaurant Room, service Bar, Laundry, Pool, Spa, Wi-Fi, and a Fitness center.
The resort’s private cottages are all separately designed and have well-designed touches like four-poster beds, Persian rugs, vintage artworks, and shined oak floors. They are designed to make your stay, with large living areas, private courtyards, and decks with sun loungers whereby some come with hot tubs or plunge pools. The bathrooms are always huge and are home to hand-painted mirrors, Bulgari toiletries, and Frette towels.
Food and Drink
The hotel has two restaurants to pick from. The primary restaurants are that the smart Stonehouse restaurant which is provided with its beautiful outdoor balcony facing the ocean, and therefore the cozy Plow. The second restaurant is that the Angel pub which is simply below, it is equipped with its timber-beamed ceiling and booming fireplace. The food we have at both restaurants is excellent, with gladdening dishes like macaroni cheese available at the Plow, and also the steak which is the most admired preference on the menu at the more expensive Stonehouse.
Our breakfast is served at either Stonehouse or in your cottage betting on your preferred location, accompanied by dishes such as homemade granola and gluten-free pancakes with blueberries and candied pecans on the menu.
